Streamlining financial operations: How Kartesia integrated LYNKS and Yooz to automate invoice management – Webinar highlights
One major advantage of process digitalisation is the efficiency teams can gain by streamlining their operations and automating recurrent tasks. International asset manager Kartesia is such an example, as that was the goal when they first adopted LYNKS and Yooz. On 1 October 2024, all three actors of this journey got together for an insightful webinar featuring Marc Housieaux (Kartesia), Shelsea Adrian (Yooz) and Jonathan Prince (Finologee).
When Marc Housieaux, Kartesia’s Business Transformation Director, decided to invest in operational efficiency, the company needed to redesign its financial processes, as they were still slowed by manual tasks and limited visibility. At the time, Kartesia was already active across six countries, with over 50 entities and 200 IBANs, making financial workflows rather complex to manage.
The impressive volume of the company’s financial operations urged for a shift towards leaner processes, which eventually lead the Business Transformation team to Finologee and Yooz.
The event started with a brief introduction by the webinar’s host Shelsea Adrian, AP Automation Specialist at Yooz, who then left the floor to Finologee’s Co-Founder and CSO Jonathan Prince to jump right into the session.
As Jonathan Prince explained, the adoption of LYNKS enabled Kartesia to centralise and automate payment operations across multiple banks, simplifying tasks that previously required managing numerous tokens and banking interfaces. He added:
“It was clear that Kartesia needed a powerful tool to centralise and automate payments across multiple banks, while also ensuring complete transparency and control in a highly secure environment.”
With LYNKS, Kartesia gained a unified view of its finances, aggregating accounts across European banks for better oversight and control. The platform streamlined account reconciliation and reporting, significantly reducing the time spent on manual tasks. As Marc Housieaux emphasised:
“When I arrived at Kartesia, everything was outsourced to accountants. Implementing Yooz and LYNKS allowed us to gain a centralised view of our financial operations, which was essential given our presence in six countries.”
Moreover, LYNKS’ SEPA Instant Payments feature accelerated settlements, improving cash flow management and minimising the risk of errors. The platform’s security features, including customisable user rights and e-signature workflows, ensured compliance and robust financial controls. As a result, the finance team could retarget their focus on strategic, high-value tasks rather than operational bottlenecks.

Shelsea in turn explained how Yooz complemented Finologee’s platform by automating Kartesia’s AP process.
Yooz streamlined the purchase-to-pay (P2P) process by centralising validation workflows and integrating with existing ERP systems, eliminating paper-based processes. This provided real-time insights into approvals and payments.
Marc Housieaux noted: “By automating key workflows with Finologee and Yooz, we reduced manual tasks and achieved better control over payments, allowing our teams to focus on more strategic activities.”

The collaboration between Finologee, Yooz and Kartesia exemplifies how leveraging best-in-class digital solutions can revolutionise your financial operations.
In a world where financial complexity is increasing, partnerships (such as the one established between Finologee and Yooz) can offer a clear advantage, delivering simplicity, efficiency, and compliance at every stage of the financial workflow.
