Finologee signs Luxembourg Women in Finance Charter, reinforcing commitment to gender inclusion
Finologee, a leading digital platform operator for the financial industry, officially signed the Women in Finance (WiF) Charter during a symbolic ceremony at its headquarters in Leudelange.
The event was attended by key WiF Charter representatives from various financial organisations, including Nicoletta Centofanti, CEO of the Luxembourg Sustainable Finance Initiative (LSFI), alongside Sustainable Finance Officer Alex Pothaar; Jerry Grbic, CEO of the Luxembourg Bankers’ Association (ABBL); Miriam Henke, COO of the Association of Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI); and Robert Jarvis from the Ministry of Finance’s Directorate of the Development of the Financial Centre and Sustainable Finance.
By signing the WiF Charter, Finologee formalises its commitment to promoting gender diversity and inclusion within the company, while also contributing to broader progress across the Luxembourg financial services sector.
“We are proud to become a signatory of the Women in Finance Charter. This commitment reflects our belief that a diverse and inclusive workforce leads to stronger outcomes for both our company and the industry as a whole.” – Raoul Mulheims, CEO
The Charter was symbolically signed by Nadège Seet, Finologee’s CFO:
“Working in both tech and finance, as a woman, this moment reflects values I deeply believe in. As a mother of two girls, I care deeply about demonstrating that independence and leadership should never be constrained by gender. For Finologee, this step is not about fixing a problem, but rather about openly reflecting our values and the way we think and operate.” – Nadège Seet, CFO
Finologee’s participation in the Charter marks another step in the company’s journey to foster a more inclusive financial sector and support the broader objectives of sustainable finance and responsible business conduct.
As of today, women make up approximately 40% of Finologee’s workforce, with female talent represented across all departments and leadership levels – figures that stand above the national average for women’s employment in Luxembourg’s high-technology sectors, as reported by Eurostat.
About the Women in Finance Charter
The Women in Finance (WiF) Charter was founded by the Luxembourg Bankers’ Association (ABBL), Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI), the Association of Insurance and Reinsurance Companies (ACA), the Luxembourg Capital Markets Association (LuxCMA), Luxembourg Finance Labelling Agency (LuxFLAG) and the Luxembourg Stock Exchange (LuxSE) and is under the patronage of the Luxembourg Ministry of Finance. The LSFI is the coordinating entity and data partner of the WiF Charter.
The Charter was formally launched in the presence of the first signatories during a “Ring the Bell” Ceremony at LuxSE for International Women’s Day on 8 March 2023.
The Luxembourg WiF Charter’s main goal is to enhance gender balance and inclusion within financial institutions, with a particular focus on increasing representation in the three most senior positions (board of directors; executive committee/C-Suite; senior management).
The Charter establishes a set of actions to be followed by the signatories. For instance, each signatory commits to establishing its own voluntary targets to increase gender parity at the most senior level of their organisations as well as to support transparency by publicly reporting on progress against these targets annually.
