Brink’s automates financial operations with FinologeeLYNKS
Brink’s, a global leader in secure logistics, has taken a significant step to modernise its financial operations by implementing LYNKS, Finologee’s banks and account management platform. Known for its extensive range of services – including cash transport and cash processing, manned security and electronic surveillance – Brink’s sought to optimise financial workflows and enhance cash handling processes for banks and retailers. With FinologeeLYNKS, Brink’s automates payment processes, streamlines cash management and strengthens operational efficiency and security.
Brink’s financial operations demand a robust solution capable of handling intricate workflows efficiently. The key business challenges include automating the collection of payments from clients and handling cash orders seamlessly.
Jacques Templé, Managing Director at Brink’s: “Our goal was to transform previously manual processes happening both at our level and at customer level into a streamlined, more efficient system. By automating our workflows, we not only save valuable time but also minimise the risk of fraud and errors across the cash cycle.“
LYNKS addresses these needs by automating the money collection flow and streamlining cash order processing. By connecting directly with multiple banks, the platform manages client payments and cash orders efficiently.
FinologeeLYNKS significantly improves Brink’s payment automation processes. The platform’s API integration allows for efficient client payment collection by automatically generating and dispatching detailed payment lists.
Additionally, integration with Brink’s CompuSafe® solution ensures secure cash counting and real-time monitoring. Data from CompuSafe® is fed directly into LYNKS, providing real-time updates on transactions.
The LYNKS platform also connects with Brink’s cash management application interface via API. This integration handles payment initiation and status retrieval, ensuring daily client deposits are accurately managed within the application. Bank credits are generated for all daily clients’ deposits. Reporting details are available through LYNKS.
LYNKS also enhances the cash ordering process through its integration with the platform used by Brink’s clients to place cash orders. Clients can specify the amount and form of cash they require, while triggering payments from the client’s bank account. These payments are then processed through LYNKS and directed to Brink’s.
This automated workflow reduces manual intervention and ensures accurate, efficient order fulfilment. The integration streamlines the entire cash ordering process, enhancing Brink’s ability to manage and fulfil client orders effectively.
Through the strategic implementation of FinologeeLYNKS, Brink’s achieves a new level of operational excellence. The platform’s capabilities in automating financial workflows, enhancing security and streamlining cash management empower Brink’s to deliver superior service and maintain its leadership position in the secure logistics industry.
Jacques Templé: “The successful implementation of LYNKS underscores Brink’s commitment to innovation and efficiency in managing its cash management operations.“
Jonathan Prince, Co-Founder & CSO at Finologee: “We are thrilled about our collaboration with Brink’s and the successful implementation of LYNKS. It’s rewarding to see how our platform has been tailored and integrated to enhance Brink’s operations, making their workflows more efficient and streamlined.”
