Based on recent recommendations and requirements provided by the Luxembourg Government and the Ministry of Health, Finologee has put in place new strict measures to ensure both employee safety and business continuity.
Given the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and its declaration by the World Health Organisation (WHO) as a public health emergency, and based on recent recommendations and requirements provided by the Luxembourg Government and the Ministry of Health, Finologee has taken actions to ensure the safety, health and wellbeing of our people, clients, guests, suppliers and contractors. We have put in place new strict measures to ensure both employee safety and business continuity:
- We have extended telework to all our employees based on Finologee’s Business Continuity Plan to ensure the maintenance and performance of all its activities for all products and services without requiring the entire team’s presence at its office. All employees have remote access controls (using Multi-Factor Authentication in the application of Finologee’s Information Security Policy) and all the necessary tools to be able to telework if needed in the event of confinement.
- In an effort to cut down on human-to-human contact, we have cancelled all internal and external in-person meetings and we are encouraging communication via e-mail, videoconferencing or phone calls. Should any party need to organise a meeting with our team members, we will provide them with connection details for the video or teleconferencing tools and channels we have put in place.
- We are performing a daily risk assessment based on the information provided by the European and national institutions (such as the Ministry of Health, the Government, Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier, etc.).
- All required and recommended measures for IT security and to meet professional secrecy obligations have been taken according to legal and regulatory provisions and the regulator’s recommendations.
Finologee already had this setup of remote access, management and related security processes and procedures put in place before the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. Thus, we do not expect any noticeable impact on the service levels and our company’s ability to meet its commitments and obligations. Should there be any change with regards to this assessment, we will get back to each of the clients that will or might be affected.
Should you have any questions or require additional information, please do not hesitate to get in touch with your account/project manager or Finologee’s management. All communication channels with our teams continue to be available, you can join us by email, over the customer care portal, phone or schedule video/teleconferences.
We will keep all our clients and partners informed about any further developments in this matter. The entire team is dedicated to making sure that we both maintain business continuity and the best quality of service.
